I had the pleasure of attending the Digital Investigation Conference 2025 (DIC) in Vienna, a fantastic event bringing together experts in digital forensics, cybersecurity, and incident response.
The conference opened with an insightful keynote by Nicolas G. from the Berlin Police, who shared fascinating perspectives on the police’s OSINT work. There were also engaging discussions about the intersection of AI and digital forensics, highlighting both opportunities and challenges.
One of the highlights for me was the presentation on automated acquisition from 26 drives, RAID reassembly, and data recovery using the new and powerful TaskForce 2 by Atola Technology.

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, die Digital Investigation Conference 2025 (DIC) in Wien zu besuchen, ein fantastisches Event, das Experten aus Digital Forensics, Cybersecurity und Incident Response zusammenbringt.
Die Konferenz wurde mit einer aufschlussreichen Keynote von Nicolas G. von der Berliner Polizei eröffnet, der spannende Einblicke in die OSINT-Arbeit der Polizei teilte. Es gab auch lebhafte Diskussionen über die Schnittstelle von AI und Digital Forensics, die sowohl Chancen als auch Herausforderungen aufzeigten.
Einer der Höhepunkte für mich war die Präsentation zu automatisiertem Imaging von 26 Laufwerken, RAID-Rekonstruktion und Datenrettung mit dem neuen und leistungsstarken TaskForce 2 von Atola Technology.

Il y a aussi eu des discussions stimulantes sur l’intersection entre l’AI et le digital forensics, mettant en lumière à la fois les opportunités et les défis.
L’un des temps forts pour moi a été la présentation sur l’imaging automatisé de 26 disques, la reconstruction de RAID et la récupération de données grâce au nouveau et puissant TaskForce 2 d’Atola Technology.
